PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, availability, photographs and other information displayed on this website are accurate. However, salmon is a natural product and reasonable variations in colour, shape, texture, appearance and portion weight may occur.
Where a product is described using an approximate weight, including “±200g”, the stated weight represents an approximate portion size and reasonable variation may occur, subject to applicable South African law.
Product images are for illustrative purposes and the product received may not appear identical to the product photographed.
FOOD SAFETY & STORAGE
Our products are perishable and must be stored, handled, defrosted and prepared in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.
Raw salmon is supplied as a raw food product unless expressly stated otherwise.
Smoked salmon identified as ready to eat may be consumed without further cooking, subject to the storage, handling and use-by instructions supplied with the product.
ALLERGEN WARNING: Our salmon products contain FISH (SALMON).
Customers should not consume any product where packaging integrity, storage conditions or product safety are reasonably in doubt.
Once products have been successfully delivered or collected, customers are responsible for appropriate storage and handling, except where loss, damage, defect or other liability remains the responsibility of Jono Salmon Co. under applicable law.
